SERVICE OPERATIONS 

       The service operations group holds a Premier Service Partner “PSP” accreditation with Motorola.  This is their highest level of service entity accreditation, and allows us to perform warranty repair work, be involved in installation contracts and be subbed for on going maintenance contract services.  The requirement to maintain this accreditation is stringent and we constantly work on meeting all of the elements.  Motorola is not the only manufacturer our service business is built around but is certainly the primary one. 

 

Services Delivered:

  • Installations  (mobile, fixed equipment – in office, dispatch center, tower sites)

 

  • Service Repair – centered on supporting what we sale.

  • Component level support largely performed at factory depot

  • In shop and at customer location

  • Scheduled responses to service requests – priority is to customers holding a maintenance agreement

Break – fix process is largely cost oriented focus

 

  • Maintenance agreements -  KEY TO STABILITY & GROWTH

    • Priority Service

    • Customer can budget maintenance expense

      • System ownership is a liability / risk for customer

    • Helps extend system life cycle and increases in service time

    • Preventative measures are practiced throughout life of agreement

    • Agreement retention focus – NOT cost oriented focus

      • Cost / profit analysis is spread over the total agreement not any one device failure

    • Also commonly referred to as a “Customer Support Plan”

  • Public Safety Vehicle builds – radio + all peripheral equipment and hardware

  • Fire Station Alert systems – automate actions based on a dispatched call

  • Configuration and Optimization of systems for special applications

  • Consults for guidance on best fit hardware for special solution requests

  • Creation of a solution by combining multiple products to achieve goal

  • Technical resource for qualified customer meetings

    • Basic training on systems and products
