Full turn-key solutions in RF and Microwave Engineering
Our expertise is based on your environment for your specific RF and microwave physical design. Each suite is customized to feature only the applications you need. We have the resources to implement a new wireless communication network. We provide all the services required for a successful turn-key project including: Path Surveys, Path Analysis and Calculation, Site and Equipment Selection, Antenna type, size, height, and tilt selection, Frequency planning, and Obstruction Analysis.
We have staff with years of experience in the design and implementation of microwave systems and we can help you meet your wireless communication needs. Services include system design, transmission engineering, Path Analysis and Coverage Testing.
Systems Design
A wide range of System Engineering services are available including system analysis and planning, design, and functional and coverage testing, documentation and technical support. The Systems Engineers analyze and develop customer's requirements into a system solution. This is accomplished by obtaining a thorough understanding of each customer's needs, learining the physical and operational system environment, and performing the necessary research to explore alternative solutions.
Transmission Engineering and Microwave Design
Transmission Engineering includes services from path reliability calculations to sureveying microwave systems. CTS responsibilities include design, verification, and implementation of microwave systems. Our engineering staff has the prime objective of providing the most effective project solutions in the following services: Site and equipment selection, Antenna type selection, Frequency planning, Tower and antenna structures, Obstruction and reflection analysis, and Criteria for civil and structural requirements.
Path Analysis
CTS engineers focus on solving and avoiding problems related with Path Engineering. These problems are the following, clear line of sight with low signal reception, signal fading, and loss of connectivity. CTS has qualified engineers capable of performing systems engineering analysis, RF path clearance verification, RF interference measurement and analysis, path feasability studies, path surveys and calculations, and path design engineering.
Coverage and Functional Acceptance Testing
Coverage acceptance Testing is performed in a statistical manner. The test results must match the coverage prediction parameters in order to be valid. This is accomplished by measuring the signal strength throughout a specific given area and estimating the radius of the area based on measurements and previous proven methodologies. A measurement of the signal strength is estimated at radial distances and determining if there is a sufficient proportion of signals at the estimated radial distance with a strength that exceeds a threshold.
Functional Acceptance Testing involves running a series of tests on a completed system. Tests are performed on particular conditions or features of the system. The purpose of the test is to obtain expected results of the system functionality.
